What should I expect during my initial therapy session?
The first session is a chance for us to connect and get a sense of what's bringing you in. We'll talk about your experiences, any relevant history, and what your goals are moving forward. There's no pressure to share everything right away. We'll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Do you offer sessions in person or only online?
I offer both in-person sessions at our location in Azilda and secure virtual video sessions for clients throughout Ontario, allowing you to choose the format that feels most comfortable.
How long is each session and how often should we meet?
Individual sessions are 50 minutes. Frequency is something we’ll decide together—many people start weekly or bi-weekly, and we adjust over time based on your needs, goals, and what feels supportive.
Are your services covered by private healthcare insurance?
I recommend contacting your insurance provider to confirm coverage for Psychotherapy. I provide a receipt after each session that you can submit for reimbursement according to your plan.
